One night on a small lake in the Samurian reserve in Dagestan, I decided to photograph a flying bat using the strobe mode on the flash. Finally, on the second night of shooting, I unexpectedly discovered that each bat flies along a certain route, constantly turning circles. Thanks to this discovery, I was able to photograph the flight of a bat in complete darkness, by trial and error adjusting the focus each time at different distances. The photograph was taken with a shutter speed of 15 seconds and a specially selected pulse frequency to alternate the arrangement of the wings up / down.
