This is one of my video paintings which consists of an image sequence generated with weak supervision. It represents the fall of the city of Tenochtitlan to the Spanish Army, and is part of my video works made with Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality. I've been working with painting and video since 2010, looking to blur the limits in between them. Some months ago I started making my video-paintings (which I previously made through machinima) with VQGAN and a library of Wikipedia Art. In this way, I can create paintings by using words and a big part of art's history which has been documented by Wikipedia. This video-painting is the beginning of a series that covers the main episodes of the history of Mexico (my home country).
“The First 100” is a never-before-seen Virtual NFT Art Fair featuring the pioneers and early adopters of what has become the ever-growing SolSea ecosystem. The concept of the fair is immersive VR NFT art trading. What this means is that we have taken two rapidly expanding technological advancements and merged them into a colossal hybrid that encompasses the best of both—the safety of blockchain and DeFi trading, and the immersive nature of the metaverse. In this manner, we are able to erase the boundaries by which the physical world is plagued. The future is blockchain, the future is now! We sincerely thank The First 100 artists for their support and faith in this project!
