Foley’s, Mankind character was created when he came to WWE in 1996, a deranged miscreant who lurked in boiler rooms and shoved his fingers down opponents' throats. Foley retired in 2000 and is currently signed to WWE under the company's Legends program, acting as a company ambassador.
