In this artwork, I've carefully crafted intricate patterns using a technique called Zentangle, which involves creating beautiful, repetitive designs by hand. The intention is to evoke a sense of calmness and tranquility, much like the serene state associated with Zen practices. The repetitive patterns or the kaleidoscope relates to each of our lives. At a human level, we might face new challenges and new emotions, but if you could zoom out, its merely a challenge, nothing more than that. The artwork also explores the concept of inner stability – a quest for balance and peace within oneself. There is also a layer of superimposition that is forged in all our lives, a hidden strength. The vivid colours are a stark reminder of the greatness that lies beyond all of us. The deeper message lies in acknowledging the coexistence of angels and demons within us. This metaphorical representation emphasises the duality of human nature – the struggles and virtues that shape our individual experiences and the choices we make along the way. By weaving these elements into the artwork, I aim to create a visual journey that encourages contemplation and self-discovery.
