Ema Sofia Alves aka FlyingIdeas started painting in 1999 exploring a variety of artistic techniques, until in 2009 she embarked on the FlyingIdeas project driven by the idea of conveying her feelings and dreams using Photoshop. As her artistic expression evolves, Sofia further delves into the exponentially growing creative process of AI, yet always with a pinch of human touch. Surrealist motives dominate her artistic expression, with the overall passion for introspection - the art of FlyingIdeas is taking us on a journey to her inner world, her dreams, emotions, thoughts about life and about death, spirituality and mysticism.
