Portraits of Men

Aleksandar Crnogorac is a Serbian documentary photographer. He worked across different genres, but since 2017 he has focused on documentary photography where he explores the connection between personal identity and the physical world. He firmly believes that socially engaged photographic projects can reach a wide audience and help educate people. Crnogorac is well known for his portraits, where he employs his lens as a storyteller, with each shutter releasing a chapter of the subject's story. His portraits delve deep into the realm of the psyche, yielding narratives that pivot around the dynamic interplay of strength, vulnerability, and identity.
