Mo was created by my 13 year old daughter, a victim of bullying. She hated going to school in Korea because people in her school would talk about her loud enough so she and everyone else could hear how worthless she was and how she should die. She was left out of group projects and was told to do the projects by herself because no one wanted to be on her team. I never knew how bad things were till she told me story after story. Some, too painful for her to mention. Others, for example, of how she would go to school and there would be garbage on top of her desk everyday for a year. She tried to put up with it but she just broke down crying. Shortly after that, we pulled her out of school. Mo was created by my daughter to deal with those difficulties during her time in school. She would put on a brave face everyday to go to school so as to not worry us. During lunch time, eating alone, she created Mo. The Life of Mo is how despite all the bad things happening to her in school, she (Mo) tried to put on a brave face. The Life of Mo is a collection of 22 images of how she tried to look on the brighter side of sadness.
