Nafs represents a testing ground for struggles with desires and passions. Its color, blue, is located outside of the heart and is found at the crown (head). This is a level within the common principle of "The Lataif Al Qalb" which means levels of the heart, in which five (and sometimes six) points represent the locus of Revelation and Inspiration of the Divine Presence in the heart of the human being.
