This image was taken with my iPhone 4S in Flushing Meadows/Corona Park on 5/20/12. The statue of the man is called "Rocket Thrower" by Donald De Lue for the 1964-1965 New York Worlds Fair. In the backdrop, you can see the "Unisphere", created by Gilmore D. Clarke, seen in many photos, music videos, and movies ("Captain America: The First Avenger", "Iron Man 2", "Men in Black") of iconic landmarks in New York, the statue was also originally made for the 1964-65 New York Worlds Fair. Since I took this a couple of hours before golden hour, I upped the contrast to pull more of the blue into the picture. It looks like the statue is about to make an overhand volleyball serve to the Unisphere. Instead of the green copper aged color of the statue, the image showed a black silhouette of the statue, while the light in the distance shines on the globe. Camera: iPhone 4S
