A non-connected series of illustration studies I performed between the years 2019 and 2021. These are all ink on 8.8x12.7cm paper, some of which have been colored using different mediums. Only one original of each exists. If you're the first to purchase this NFT, you are entitled to receive directly from the illustrator (i.e. me) the original piece via mail. Therefore, you could say that you're paying for the artwork via its NFT... or that you're getting the original artwork alongside your NFT purchase. Either works! Due to various currency restrictions involving my country and transactions, I've chosen to use solsea as the most surefire method for putting these artworks for sale online to the worldwide public at large; the usage of NFT technology facilitates and circumvents all these aforementioned restrictions and even provides more tangible liquidity than conventional methods of payment that are inaccessible for me for reasons beyond my control. Thus, due to the nature of utilizing NFTs as a method of purchase, therein lies an interesting ambivalence which can be seen in two equally valid (and even not mutually exclusive) ways: --For people interested in the artwork itself, you can purchase it through solsea and contact me at INKSTUDIES@AIRMAIL.CC for ascertaining verification and exchanging postal information to receive the original. The value of the NFT in the context of this purchase is strictly up to the buyer: now with the one-of-a-kind drawing in your power, you may use the NFT as mere proof of ownership/authenticity, a receipt of your purchase, or merely consider it a residual. --For NFT collectors, you may see this as an opportunity to obtain, as a bonus for your purchase of the token, the original artwork in question. Like above, you may contact me at INKSTUDIES@AIRMAIL.CC and, after verification, shipping of the illustration can be arranged. Please be advised that due to the inherent nature of the blockchain, the only way to ascertain verification without a public solsea profile involves a post-purchase transaction (any amount above the standard transaction fee, no matter how minuscule, should suffice) from the wallet that purchased the respective token.
