This unique NFT collection brings together four early works by the artist amawe, created between 2000 and 2002. The works show an expressive examination of identity, emotionality and inner experience. Shifting between abstraction and figuration, she creates multi-layered creatures that come to life through color, line and form. Each work tells in its own way of searching, amazement, disintegration and rediscovery - sometimes quietly, sometimes drastically, but always honestly.

In “Touching Souls”, the artist weaves colored contours into an open dialogue between two figures. The watercolour-like technique emphasizes the fluid, ephemeral and emotional - boundaries blur, identities dissolve. The gaze focuses on a central, expressive eye that functions like a gateway to the inner world. The work thematizes closeness, communication and the unspoken between people. The picture shows two abstracted figures that appear to be facing each other head-on or merging into each other. A single, clearly outlined eye in the upper left area is particularly striking - possibly a central means of expression. The areas of color are applied in glazes and range from cool blue to green and yellow to warm red and orange. There are no hard edges, but smooth transitions. The depiction can be read as a symbolic portrait of interpersonal closeness - possibly an embrace, a conversation or even an inner conflict between two parts of the soul. The striking eye could stand for awareness or vulnerability, while the color transitions reflect emotional states - from coolness (blue) to passion (red/orange).
