It is a liturgical hymn dating from the 6th century, a poem by Venantius Fortunatus, one of its verses beginning with the phrase "Pange lingua" inspired St. Thomas Aquinas to write the famous Eucharistic piece. It is sung on Good Friday, during the adoration of the Holy Cross and on feasts related to the Passion and the Cross. This is the first time in history, as far as we have records, that a performance of this piece is turned into an NFT. In addition, this NFT contains the only copy of the performance of the work. The file will be destroyed after mining, to make this NFT an absolutely unique piece.
