"Earth" was the second painting in this series. The image was inspired by some of the Instagram photography that some use with acrylic spheres to create a juxtaposition between the image inside versus the environment outside. In this case, I painted a desert scene inside the sphere while the outside of the sphere was a beach. I also added a little gecko in it since geckos can be found in both environments.
