Before leaving Brazil, the crew vowed to keep their superpowers a secret. They decided to use the code name “gumballs” for the alien balls and agreed that Boom would store them at his house to keep them safe. Boom was the only one who did not have a pet and he also had the most freedom of all the breakers. He lived in a foster home with Mr. Bradford who cared for him deeply. Mr. Bradford loved kids and all the kids on the block loved him back. They respected him so much —they all called him “Pops”. Mr. Bradford was a veteran and owned three Break Dance Schools in New York and one in Los Angeles.
