This collection consists of digital drawings inspired by characters of the international morse code. This first collection, visual alphabet #1, contains single characters from the English alphabet. Every drawing in this collection starts with a morse code character. I draw to suit my idea of how the character should look, or to match the image I have in my mind to create. Consider "soul patch", the letter a ".-". Soul patch's eyes are the dot and dash. "Three bubbas and Pierre" is a morse code v "...-", three dots and a dash. The three bubbas are dots and Pierre is the dash. "The colonel", b "-...", is abstracted. His eyes are the dash and three dots. (If you're unfamiliar with international morse code, there are many references to the character set on the web.) As to how these are created, I sketch by hand. I use modern sketching software which helps me fill colors and add minor effects, but these are my drawings and my ideas. I am not a trained artist, and I am still learning how to produce what I see. Art is subjective, and the marketplace will decide if anything I do is noteworthy. I do hope that the originality of my art will be appreciated. Thank you for looking. dits N dahs
