By 2123 one third of the earth is deemed uninhabitable by the UN & other World Organizations due to increased pollution. This would cause an exponential population density spiral. To solve the problem governments created smart cities. Scientists mapped out the places called Regions that were still habitable and so the financial institutions, governments, and religious groups pulled resources, and 157 years after the news was made public the thirst three cities were completed. This brought hope that the survival of the human race wasn't lost. Cities were built on land, sea, and Air. A vast network of cities was formed called Domains The greatest challenge the various domains faced was how were the resources going to be shared, this almost took them back to the 10year wars- a war that broke out when the news came out. Governments backed by various cooperations took the world to the brink of WW3. This was when the CRD was formed- The Council of Resource Distribution, made up of The Lords, The Guardians & The Patrol, each with its function and jurisdiction. The Lords were rulers of Domains, they worked closely with the Guardians whose job was to accurately record every single available resource, establish optimal fraction distribution among the domains, and finally, The Patrols which acted as the enforcers of the laid down guards of the guardians. The demand for certain things from certain places bred a new kind of organized crime, malicious actors working together to steal & divert resources for personal gains sometimes working with different Lords. To combat this, tournaments were created in search of the best racers who would act as delivery agents for the Guardians, officers in the Patrol, and security for the lords.
