(SOLD OUT-Will return next year) Despite the ridicule NFTs are getting right now, people already have a sense of 'digital value' through the pictures they collect on their phones, girls especially through their selfies. We usually snap a line of pictures, then delete down to the best ones to keep store or utilize for our social media profiles. While trying to declutter my phone I came upon some selfies I just couldn't delete. It was a ridiculous feeling. I'm not going to use these, barely will I be previewing them. But I still couldn't erase. These measly bits of data have value to me, and it's that sort of sentimentality I realized Web 3.0 is going to give platform to. It makes me excited for how NFTs manifest in our culture. Turning my most valued 2021 selfies into collectables is a more satisfying way to part from them than deleting.
