This Gregorian piece is the hymn par excellence with which the Church, since the 9th century, has invoked the presence and assistance of the Holy Spirit. As well as being sung at particular liturgical moments such as episcopal consecrations and priestly ordinations, it forms a vital part of the opening rites of every conclave where a new pope is elected. This is the first time in history, as far as we have records, that a performance of this piece is turned into an NFT. In addition, this NFT contains the only copy of the performance of the work.
