Frida Kahlo (July 6, 1907 - July 13, 1954) -Mexican painter in the styles of surrealism, magic realism, and naive folk art. -Member of the Mexicayotl movement which attempted to define Mexican identity. -Some of her art was based off of experiences with chronic pain resulting from a bus accident at the age of 18. -First Mexican artist featured in the Louvre's collection.
