Strom is the population center of the Aratax system. It was colonized by the Argonasti Empire over two millennia ago. Valuable minerals are mined from the planet, and quarries cut high-grade stone from the planet to ship off-planet for high-profile buildings in the heart of the Empire. Stone is rarely shipped off-planet, however Strom has some of the most highly prized stone, and the super-wealthy use it as a status symbol in their buildings. The planet also serves as a hub of trade and exploration in the area.
