This is a size 6 ring made from bronze and a cabochon I made of Rhyolite I found at Jasper Beach, Maine. Contrary to the location's name, there is little or no jasper to be found there. Instead, you will find rhyolite, a hard, fine grained, volcanic rock that often has pretty bands, swirls, and nodules running through it.
Rhyolite was used by early Americans in tools. It would not surprise me to learn that this beach was a prize resource among the earliest North Americans.
The ring was fashioned from bronze wire. The cabochon started as a rough stone. This is a one of a kind piece. The owner of this NFT may elect to obtain the original artwork and receive a 20% discount.
